Versatile Studios is a creative partner to some of the world's largest brands and agencies. As a production company that creates content for print and video advertising, they are known for helping clients to achieve their vision while creating better production experiences. I was tasked with redesigning the Versatile Studios' website to better reflect the wide range of services they offer, create an easy and intuitive browsing experience, and to educate their clients on the growing 'creative partner' role that the company has cultivated.

CONTENT FIRST
Versatile Studios previous website was a vast repository of print, video and written information. It quickly became overwhelming for both the visitor and the Versatile staff to manage. The primary challenge with the new site design was to present the content in a way that created a simple, intuitive user experience. The redesigned website combined easy navigation, strong visuals, clean design and bold typography.
TYPOGRAPHY
The existing brand identity paired a simple yet bold wordmark with a monochromatic color palette. My design approach was built around these visual cues, foregoing the use of any decorative elements in favor of expanding on the bold, minimal, typographic approach. This allows users to quickly and easily navigate the site and find the information they are looking for.
BLACK & WHITE
The monochromatic palette was also used to differentiate between different sections of the site. The landing page showcases Versatile Studios most recent and featured projects, displayed on a white background. The past projects archive is displayed on a black background, adding visual interest for the user as they navigate through the various sections of the site. Visit website
