Westy Productions provides small to large-scale photo production and logistical co-ordination services throughout North America, Europe, and around the world. Working with some of the most recognizable names in fashion, advertising, photography and art, the team at Westy asked me to create a brand identity in keeping with their working approach: tailor-made, personalized and created with strict attention to detail.
Logo & Visual Identity
A MINIMAL APPROACH
With Westy's elite client base of fashion publications, world-class photographers, agencies and global brands, the visual identity called for an approach that was understated yet sophisticated. A minimal typographic wordmark was created with the company name presented in lowercase, contrasted with thin uppercase letterforms used across brand applications. Stationery and note cards were foil printed in high white and dark grey gloss on premium quality embossed slate grey paper stock.
WEBSITE & PRINT DESIGN
For the website design, we continued with the theme of understated yet sophisticated, creating an ultra-minimal design approach that places Westy's ever expanding portfolio of clients and projects on full display. Navigation and number of pages were kept to a minimum allowing visitors to quickly review content and images. As an extension of the brand identity and website, I also created concepts for promotional materials across print and publication that could be distributed to existing and prospective clients, highlighting the vast back catalogue of creative campaigns and content that Westy has produced over the years.
