Creating a bold new look towards the iconic
Krimson Klover is an American womenswear brand specializing in luxurious, feminine apparel for the fashion and resort markets. The company designs clothing for active, passionate women who embrace their independence, color outside the lines and live boldly. Wayne Ogilvie Design was commissioned to breath new life into the brand identity and create a new approach around two key terms – aspirational and iconic.
The visual identity is made up of a unique double k lettermark, a high contrast wordmark and a bold energetic shade of crimson red. These simple elements used in combination with product-focused photography, minimal layouts and clean typographic treatments, create a timeless, elegant, modern brand identity.
Custom double garment tags were created to highlight the double k lettermark on one and the brand ethos along with the full logo and ‘live boldly’ tagline featured on the other. The garment tags helped to establish a more modern, aspirational tone increasing brand visibility and exposure with new and existing customers.
The brand elements are designed to be used in a creative and flexible manner across various collateral materials including marketing, advertising, packaging and print applications.
